My ambition has always been to work with teams that develop worthwhile and innovative solutions that impact and drive business value. Kibanda TopUp’s mission to increase restaurants' contribution to Africa’s GDP is in line with this. I am excited to be part of the team to help restaurants expand their businesses and ensure the community that depends on Kibanda Topup is well catered for. I was especially interested in working at Kibanda Topup because it sought to address a problem faced by an underserved market, which could potentially impact hundreds if not thousands of families positively.

Before Kibanda Topup, I used to work at Sendy as an Operations Associate. I was in-charge of partner training, driver discipline, retention and communication. I acted as the bridge between Operations ,Product and Customer Support teams by translating partners pain points to product requirements while continuously improving partner experience

Helping others and empowering people is what motivates me the most. It doesn’t matter whether it is a colleague, friend or relative. There are times when the people around your need that extra drive to get going. I relish the opportunity to reach out to such people. It gives me a sense of confidence and belief that I can be of some help. The idea that I might provide a solution to someone’s problem is what motivates me to do a good job. I would love to see the customers say that Kibanda impacted their lives positively and helped to push themselves to greater heights.

What I love most about working here is the support from the team as well as the freedom to express and execute ideas to help realize the organization’s mission to increase restaurants' contribution to Africa’s GDP

In my free time, I like to have quality family time. I also try to create time for learning through books, documentaries etc while still indulging in my hobbies. When I explain my work to my family, I tell them that my job involves working with a team to  move goods to customers or the end user.
